This Wednesday, the Ciudad del Fútbol de las Rozas opened its doors to welcome the four teams that compose the group “C” of AL ABTAL INTERNATIONAL CUP.
At noon, the Saudi Future Falcons “Green” and Atlético de Madrid tied their laces to face each other. After 90 minutes of action, adrenaline and technique, the scoreboard closed with a 0-4 result in favor of the Madrid team, with goals from Guillermo Macho, Lucas Ricoy, Adrián Rodríguez “Green” and Alejandro Llinar.
The afternoon brought another dose of good soccer and at 16:00 the Saudi Future Falcons “White” were jumping to the field to face Rayo Majadahonda. The action didn’t take long to happen, and in the first 20 minutes of the match the Falcons “White” took the lead with a goal from Yahya Naji and two more from Hussain Muyini. Despite their effort, Rayo Majadahonda could not materialize all their chances and, with a goal in the last minute by Carlos Lopez, the referee blew the final whistle with a 3-1 in favor of the Saudi Future Falcons “White”
Luis Rubiales, president of the Spanish Football Federation, showed up to the match to show his commitment to the celebration of this first edition of AL ABTAL INTERNATIONAL CUP.
Thanks to the results of these matches, Atlético de Madrid leads group C of the competition, with the Saudi Future Falcons “White” close on their heels.
