The first day of AL ABTAL INTERNATIONAL CUP kicked off on Wednesday in the best possible way.
On its opening day, the competition attracted more than 300,000 people with the live broadcasting of its first matches both on television and via online streaming.
In addition, the event was also visited by several Saudi Arabian personalities, including H.E. Azzam Abdulkarim Algain, the country’s ambassador in Spain, who did not want to miss the occasion. The ambassador was joined by other guests such as Mr. Khaled Alghfaili, Defense Attaché, Mr. Saeed Almalki, Cultural Attaché, Mr. Hamad Almoammar, Head of Academic Affairs Department and Mr. Karim Sultan, Deputy Head of Protocol.
The presence of the ambassador and the rest of the guests is a sign of the commitment of the Saudi Arabian government and its ministry of sports to the Saudi Future Falcons in the Saudi Scholarship For Developing Football Talent (SSDFT) project and the projection of promising young players in the world of sports.
