The club’s history dates back to the origins of football in the Eastern Province in 1935, when teams were created by Aramco workers and employees from Khobar’s sons. Al-Qadisiyah is the result of the merging of the historic Al-Khobar clubs, and its foundation is inextricably linked to it.
The club got its name from the battle of Al-Qadisiyah, which took place in Iraq.
The official date of the foundation of the club is 1967, when the merged of the two clubs: Al-Shula and Al- Wahda.
