Olympique de Marseille, or OM as it is colloquially known, is considered a historical soccer club in France, as it was one of those that participated in the first edition of the professional championship in 1932, and the one that accumulates more presences in the highest category. It holds the honor of having been the first historical leader of the competition, as well as the honor of being the only French team to hold a UEFA Champions League title.

Olympique Marseille has a strong soccer academy project, from which it promotes the education and sporting development of its players, among whom Cédric Carrasso or Éric Di Meco have stood out.
